So far, Watkins is my #1 choice for our draft pick this year.  I'd be fine with the less sexy pick of a LT with our 1st if he's definitely BPA, but if it's too close to really call one position (WR or LT) bpa over the other, I want Watkins.  If we go LT in the 1st, we MUST get a WR in the 2nd unless something like this past year's draft happens and there's a run on WRs and all the decent ones are gone by our 2nd round pick.  Hell, if we go LT in the 1st, and Watkins or Lee or (I forget the other 1 or 2 highly thought of WR prospects so far), I would be all for trading back into the back half of the 1st for one as long as it's not some raw, combine star like Patterson.  I want a guy that's already shown he can be a good WR.  We MUST attempt to address #1 WR in this draft though.

I actually feel ok about Ginn as our #2 and Lafell as our #3 for a while (assuming we resign Lafell to a comparable contract we got Captain for, not in dollars per se, but proportionate to positional salaries).  I've given up for now hoping Lafell turns into a good #2, but I think he can be a good #3.  A guy you look at to move the chains occasionally and be the guy the defenses aren't tuning in on that can get a sneaky completion every now and then, in addition to being a good blocking WR.

Ginn on the other hand is looking so far to be an actual competent, dependable WR.  I haven't seen him drop a pass yet, he's running all the routes, I think he should be our #2.

DAT ***** PREACHIN!

Clowney is starting to become a diva big time.  Dude is buying into the myth of his own legend.  Great prospect no doubt, but if we don't draft an OT or a WR in the 1st round next year, I'm gonna lose my mind.  We've been investing a ton into building the front seven of our defense while trying to rely on an over the hill formerly elite LT, an undrafted FA RT, and an over the hill formerly elite #1 WR surrounded by a bunch of also rans.  It's time to invest in protection and weapons for the QB we drafted #1 overall.  It's time to stop pretending like simply having Cam Newton on the roster is all we need to field an offense that can win games in the NFL.
