Cams worst problem

And Tom Brady was a game manager until Belichick built an offense around him.

Yeah but Cam can't even manage the game...misses easy throws one game...throws the ball to a double covered Smith for INT's the next..That type of management will put you out of business quick..as Ron is figuring out.

Cam Newton has 9 games in which he had a QB rating lower than 70.

That's 1 in every 4 games.

We are 1-8 in those games.

Absolutely unacceptable.

EDIT: 12 games under 75 rating....16 under 80 rating....

EDIT #2:  he's actually had 6 games under 60 rating....1 in every 6.

You keep trying to paint Cam as inaccurate, and yet he would have easily completed 69% of his passes had Smitty, Barner, and LaFell came to play today.

Sorry, but if Harbaugh can win 19 games with Alex Smith, then Rivera can win with a more talented QB in Cam Newton.

What is his career completion percentage for 3rd and 5+? Those are the first downs that good QB's get...the others don't really matter. FTR it may be great compared to other QB's or really bad IDK.

Kaepernick had a rating of 38 and yet his team won by 31 points.

Your logic isn't as sound as you think.

Kaepernick needs to prove that he can be something other than a read option / pistol style QB.

If he can't do that, I don't think he'll last.

Cam need to learn to have a mental pocket time where he decides in less than 3 sec whether he is gonna throw it or run.

Back when Alex Smith was a 49er under Mike Singletary, they implemented a thing where when they were running plays in practice, if the ball wasn't out in three seconds, the QB coach blew an airhorn.  If that happened, the play was over and ruled a sack.

They may want to try something similar with Newton.

His last four outings have been average to mediocre, and he has no excuse for it. His o-line is immensely superior.

I know fans in here are upset with Cam's second half performance but we should be more grateful for what we have. Colin had to bailed out yet again and Schaub threw his fourth straight pick 6.

I'm not that big a fan of Schaub either, honestly.

Yeah i know ... I wish they would have done this poo when he came in 2011..........I pray that Aimni injury isn't serious because it went downhill after that.
