As Fox was showing the graphic and replays of missed chances to score Cam fumbles.

The gameplans on both sides of the ball have not been bad. However, there is NO margin of error for this team.

Steve Smith jumps up and down like he wins the lottery when he gets a first down and now I know why. Dude dropped the easiest TD he may get all season.

Lafell is hit right in the chest on a 4th and 1 the whole fan base has been asking for.

The Panthers are like a good hearted crack head. He really wants to do better but can't say no to very dumb things and always seems to have bad drama going on around him.

I'm glad that thus far I haven't seen many people harping on the 4th down decision in the first half, because I thought it was a good decision, and a good play call that had our #2 reciever just flat out poo the bed.  Second half is where crap really got bad, but although I'm pissed with Rivera, this game was more on very poor play by the players than anything.  Smitty is no longer a #1, and Lafell has no business being more than a #3-4 with his stone hands and ability to become the invisible man.  Ginn is sadly our best, and most consistent reciever right now.

IMO, its mostly mental by now.  We have lost so many close ones that we expect to lose when we go into the 4th quarter.  While I don't blame Rivera for all of it, I do think its going to take a complete change of staff, and maybe a few personnel as well, to fix it.  In truth we had the same issue in 2001/2002.  Great defense, crappy offense and a lot of close losses.

at the end of the day we have to stop "settling"..... settling on resting the plays that actual brought the success that kept us in the game, settling for starting below average players (O-LINE) in key positions, settling on not making proper personnel adjustments (coaching staff), and certainly settling on having a do it later or eventually within the game mentality! we can't win like this! and we don't deserve to get lucky! we deserve  as many heartbreaking sunday buttkickings  until we fix all of these issues not to mention our "Defensive- Minded" head coach
