Robert Lester appears solid

Of course it's still only a relatively small sample size, but I'm liking what I see out of this guy.  He may not be the fastest guy in the world, but he seems to always be in a position where he can make the play.

Anyone with more knowledge of the Safety position want to weigh in?

I am just thankful that he was the first guy that we called. This is one move that G-man got right. Lester should only get better with more experience.

He has looked good. He took a hell of a bad angle on a run play in Q3 though. Think Ellington was the back.

He cut inside instead of sealing the edge. Did the same exact thing with the David Wilson TD run.

Honestly we'd be in a great position next year to bring some talent in on the Oline and in our receiver corps if he just improves a bit so we could part ways with Godfrey.  Don't get me wrong Godfrey is a good player but we need precious cap space.  Beason is off the books, I'd imagine either Williams or Stewart to be gone after this year,  Smith will be forced to take a fat paycut or may retire if he doesn't turn a complete 180 on this season.

The only guys I feel are priority resigns are Hardy and Ginn.
