I have never once said anything negative about Cam Newton, but...

Cam is an outstanding QB but he should be allowed to run and even the best QB will be destroyed behind an under average O line.

Drafting the best available scrambling QB ever is nice but if your plan is to keep it behind...

A swiss cheese like Oline.

You are doomed.

You can't win that game without a solid offensive line.

Your joke was racist, and flat out ignorant. Then you tried to wiggle out of it by claiming it was a joke. Didn't work.

Go ahead and throw in the towel Swaggasaurus.

Calm down! do you really think racist peoples are watching this game?

If yes, smile then since it must be a real pain for them.

You can blame playcalling, but if that's the case why isn't Cam given more freedom to adjust to what he's seeing.  Steve Smith drops a pass that was an easy TD and then in the next offensive series spins the ball on a damned 1st down.  Does he realize that could be a penalty now?  Really getting sick of excuse making for this team.

It's like watching a bunch of primadonnas goofing around.  We now see that the Giants game wasn't anything to be excited about since they are probably the worst team in football except for maybe the Steelers.

I didn't read the OP. I'm not going to wrap myself in Huddle/Cam Debates today (plus I'm busy, just making a quick stop).

The bottom line is this: Panthers are 1-3, so are essentially out the playoffs, again. And this offense and defensive coaching staff (once again) cannot make any adjustments during the second half of games, meanwhile some of the worst teams in the league--that they're playing--do. That's the bottom line.

I liked several things I saw from Cam yesterday (many of them were dropped), 2 INT's not included. However, that's part of the game. Maybe if the team had a better game plan (poor play calling against the Cardinals QB Rush), adjustments, and could score some points the two INT's wouldn't matter so much. However, I didn't see anything from Cam, that would make someone a first time criticizer of him. Was it his best game; no. But it wasn't  close to his worst, and the Panthers were still in the game. As usually the case, there was much blame to go around.

Obviously, the Cardinals made some adjustments on offense, that the Panthers couldn't stop either. So I've just about had it with the Rivera Regime (actually, I thought he was a poor coach during Cam's rookie year). It's gone on too far now. Unfortunately, Cam is just a casualty and Whipping Boy of it.

Please show Rivera his walking papers. Give Cam and the Panthers a chance with a new, legitimate regime, with a offensive minded head coach. This should have been the case to start the season, unfortunately the Panthers had JR and a Wet Behind The Ears "intern" making decisions, with JR hanging Rivera to dry, while ultimately rehiring him, nonetheless selecting a different GM. SMH. Another wasted season (for the team and Newton).

Now you know Andrew Luck didn't want to come here. Hopefully, Gettleman can rescue that perception/reputation??
