Time to put something on Cam

it's really weird to me that every time our offensive line plays bad cam plays bad too. why can't cam play better to make up for the offensive line playing worse?

Some folks get a false perception in their minds that our OL played worse than they did because of huge sack numbers..the times when Cam stays in the pocket for 6 seconds and gets sacked sometimes gets blamed on the OL incorrectly by unrealistic posters who are all "fair and balanced" in their team critique.

Your evidence of this is where?

I've sure never heard this silliness before... It's like watching ESPN.

I get my evidence usually on Sundays...lol. He more often than not locks onto one guy. Guys do get open. Maybe only for a few seconds but its called timing. I have not seen Cam hit guys in stride many times. His footwork is off and relies on his arm strength to much. Cam wants guys to break completely free but that doesn't happen much in the NFL. We can all pick apart what we think is wrong but the bottom line is this team stinks. So you start at the top and work your way down.

No one is saying Cam needs to do it on his own. He, however, needs to be that guy. Every team has "those guys" on both sides of the ball. Kuechly is one of those guys. Make something out of nothing. Turn a broken play into a touchdown. Look at teams that depend on their quarterbacks, Cam needs a supporting cast but at the end of the day he needs to be depended on.

He's the franchise player, and it's time for him to make us drop our jaws again. He needs to be that superstar for this team to get to the next level. All of our eggs are in his basket, it's time for him to overcome the obstacles. It sounds unfair, but that's what happens when you are a starting QB with his skillset.

He doesn't need to do it all, but he HAS to be a step above the rest.

Then what the hell else can he do then??! He might as well be the only guy on the field. 1 on 11  I swear some you are just not getting this at all or if you even want too

Most of this team is the same since Cam got here. You'd think by now he would have some timing with the guys. I have yet to notice him trying to fire the team up. Sure he'll do his 1st down thing and Superman pose on a TD score but that's all about him. He has no fire in him. I honestly think his spirit is broken. At some point he should will this team to some wins but its not happening. Remember when Jake used to fire the team up and pull off some amazing wins?

I'm not seeing anything in there about reading defenses or leadership. Strange.

Just admit you jumped the gun and made a ridiculous comment out of emotion and anger, then we can move on.

I see Cam standing alone on the sideline, not with his OL or WR. Blowing boogers on himself..real team guy.

See the Mathieu blitz, and Cam being lost on who the hot receiver is. It is the QB's job to find the weakness and get it there before the CB gets to him.

Anybody that says Cam is not part of the problem is a idiot period! He is just a piece of the f*ck up problem in Carolina.

Cam Newton brought Steve Smith back to being relevant and has people talking about Ginn as a damn wr again. Cam will make mistakes but so does every qb. This team does very little to help Cam. Everything that happens he has to make it happen. Cam isn't the problem. Cam is the only reason most of us expect this team to win every week. What you want Mike Glennon? Its working for the Bucs

He definetly has a broken spirit. But the media has done it to him. I remember in the post game interviews where he would smile and make jokes the whole interview. Then even when we lost he was fired up about the lost he hated losing. Now when we lose it's the same ole poo, "somebody needs to step up!" Same ole poo.

Yes because that totally proves unequivocally that Cam can't read defenses.

Thanks for that input.

So that guy doesn't give you an example..I do..and that is all you have. That is 100% him not being able to read a defense, yes he recognized the blitz but what to do with the ball he had not a clue..and that is very sad.

I'm not the one making outrageous allegations. Why should I give examples?

If you can't prove the idiocy you type, that's your problem.
