That's the problem. Nobody on this forum knows what was or wasn't done in regards to shopping Beason... We don't know if he was shopped at all for that matter and likely will never find out. I agree that the market sets the value, and for a team desperate for a MLB I believe that we could have gotten more.

Then and only then will my mind be changed that Beason was worth more than what we got for him.

If I'm one of the few that just doesn't get hearded with the masses, well then it's probably a good thing.

My point did not have to do with beason entirely.

I was just trying to say that you point out that no one here knows what really happened, however you have an opinion which can not be argued because you think you are right and are absolutley closed off to debate.

You had asked me a "serious question" earlier, which by the way adding in before an insult does not absolve you from being  an absolute child, about my reading comprehension.

 

If it is the case that my reading comprehension has been shown to be suspect throughout these posts, then let me ask you to dumb it down for me.

 

My favorite so far, it has been referenced a few times, but I cant resist.

So here, I foolishly assume that your asking of what the point, and what is to be debated was, in fact, a continuity of your refusal to have your baseless opinion changed. 

Then you make a great point afterward, one in which I genuinely agree with, and one that seems to go over your own head.

I agree with not forming an opinion, because there is not a shred of anything involving the trade to base an opinion on.

I have to admit, I don't quite understand why you said any of this at all.I never asked you to apologize for anything, unless you did something bad then you should of course always apologize.

Yeah, and the rest of that.. hm. I just can not make the connection, but hopefully when you kindly help me with my comprehension problem, I will be totally enlightened.

I had taken this to mean, " I hold on, unreasonably, to my baseless opinions. Not like the "masses" that are blinded by thoughtful debates that might support or disproves their opinion." So I apologize if I didn't comprehend your genuine invite to a debate.

This is a dead issue, and has been dead for a week now. I' won't be entertaining you any further. You never wanted to debate it, you just wanted to tear part every sentence that I formed. he wasn't doing anything here. he wasn't productive. he was a backup at MLB and a backup at OLB. he wasn't even seeing any playtime.

we got a pick for a guy that we weren't using and who would have walked away for nothing next year.

it's a win.

My point is that it really depends on the compensation. If it's just a sixth or seventh then it's possible we could've gotten that anyway as a compensatory pick after we let him walk, all the while keeping him as insurance should injuries be an issue.

Yeah yeah, absolutely shocked with your response, assuming you actually read my post. 

 

My "tearing apart" was nothing more than what your posts have given me, and had nothing to do with form but more so how you feel your opinions, which you admit multiple times to be baseless, and exclaim that you can not be moved from it regardless of what anyone says to you so don't try.

 

I truly don't know any simpler way to type it out, but I'll give it a try 

 

Maybe don't question other peoples ability to comprehend your silly, thoughtless opinions when you've shown nothing to suggest you have the ability to comprehend anything at all.
