Giants.com Has Interview With Beason, It's Clear He Wanted Chance to Start At MLB Again

Well if RR did help out the beast with his request, then good for him.It seems the players like RR and he appears to be a compassionate guy who cares and will try to help them when he can. Also doesn't hurt that he was a player and can relate to them on that level. That's why I hope RR has turned the corner as far as a HC goes.At least he isn't a total dick like the humanoid in Tampa.

Dude, I've had two... lumbar and cervical.

You have my sympathies.

And my wishes for a great recovery.

You are a Soldier then if you've had two!

I "burst fractured" my L4 and they fused me from L5 to L3.

We're your surgeries due to trauma or do u just have a bad back?

Im gonna miss the Beast! he was one of my favorite players (and will continue to be) Hate seeing him in another jersey...but, i'd rather be seeing him playing than sit on the shelf. Another thing, Seems like our Gm is more interested in making a team better, than being attached to players that are not producing...so hopefully that's sends a nice message to this team! Seems like a win for both sides. Hope Beason has a great season, and stays healthy! Now I guess I have a reason to tune in to giants games now.

Well it's quite simple actually. When I'm busy with life I'm not really on here much. When I'm recovering from back surgery and unable to work, I spend more time on the huddle. That pretty much sums it up. I had actually written the huddle off prior to my surgery. I may do it again soon. After all this is really just one huge waste of time. I can think of at least 10 more productive things I could be doing as we speak. I think if everyone is honest they'd agree.

Bullshit, i remember reporting the post that got you banned and the ensueing party we hosted in two seperate threads.

The panthers respected beason and knew here he wasnt going to be used to the best of his ability so they shipped him to a place that will make him a mike linebacker. I respect the panthers for not cutting him and kicking him to the curb and instead sending him somewhere that he could revive his career.

I think you guys may be reading a bunch of compassion into a business decision. We kicked Hangartner to the curb out of nowhere after a pretty good season. For beason we got a draft pick and some cap space for a guy who probably was sitting the bench the remainder of the season.

What I get out of this is our new GM moves quick if there is dead weight and doesn't like losing out on deals.
