Jon Beason Officially a Giant.......Passes his Physical

I will be watching NYG when it's possible for Beason. Hopefully, I can see him starting and making an impact for them. While I think it's only right that a team like NYG is knocked down a bit and humbled - I would not wish goose egg for wins on any team. And certainly not one with one of our guys like Beason on it. What are the rules on compensatory picks?  Stats wise, he hasn't done too much because of being injured.  Do they go back to when he was a Pro Bowler in 2010?

If I remember correctly it is based on the new salary. So like Peppers that got payed $10M we get a 3rd I think (highest possible anyway). 

 

As Beason would most likely had signed a "minimum vet prove you still got it one year deal" we would not get anything. Current salary or original draft place does not factor in.

Probably not anyone of much consequence.  Special teamer type maybe.
