Well, now that he's passed the physical how about one of these reporters get the details of the deal.

What round pick do we get?

I'm thinkin 5th because Espn article says NYG traded before for an injury prone LB (KEITH RIVERS, BENGALS) for a LATE RD PICK. It was a 5th rd pick.

Why get pissed?  He is probably gonna play MLB and he wasn't going to play MLB here.  If he looks real good at MLB it's of no consequence because he wouldn't have played MLB here so there was no way we could advertise his MLB play.   I would be more pissed if we kept him the entire year on the Bench then he leaves and we got nothing for him.

 

Why?  Because it's hard to even find decent depth in the 7th round.  If Kuechly gets hurt it would be awfully nice to have Beason step in there.  There is virtually no 7th round linebacker we could draft that could do better then Beason backing up the middle.   How many 7th rounders are even still on the team dating back 5 drafts?  If it's a 5th rounder fine, we could package and move up in the draft.  But a 7th.......who cares about an extra 7th  round pick.
