beason lost his leadership role in the defense a long time ago.

the defense has taken a life of it's own without him. thank kuechly, hardy, edwards, star..whoever. will they miss him as a friend? yes...but as player, he's been expendable for quite some time.

exactly

i don't really understand your flip flop on this.

you had been screaming about getting out from under Beason. But now you are worried about film study, leadership. The defense has been looking at Keek for a year and a half now. It's keeks team. There are enough smart people in the film room. Blackburn being one of them. He is a really bright guy.

the guys will move on.

not a flip flop at all.

I want to move on from DeAngelo as well....doesn't mean I blindly endorse them doing so in any manner they choose.

They should of dumped Beason before or after the season.  Doing it now, for basically nothing....IMO messes with chemistry on a journey we already started for 2013.

Lol Smitty brings up a great point...

We are trading Jon Beason for the same compensation that we got Louis Murphy for...

Damn.

You cant lose site of what Beason is today, not what he was.

In 2011, 2012 and 2013 Beason has a total of 26 tackles in the NFL.

His is a position we can easily fill as will be the case with our Running Back corp when they start hitting the streets.

the chemistry so far has little to do with beason.

he was limited in the first 2 games, and null in game 3.

little with on field chemistry....

ask the Bucs if there is more to team chemistry than the starters playing   I'm not comparing us to the Bucs.....just sayin...he was part of what we are.   I would have rather it occured in the off season with a big locker room guy.

Now if we practice well today, no rumblings by players, D plays great Sun.....I will be over it
