Beason is a classy guy who deserves a chance to start at MLB where he has the best chance to shine.  Shame it has to be a toilet bowl team like the Giants but they will turn it around eventually.  I bet the Giants wish they'd just re-signed Chase Blackburn.

Its a good trade for Beason bc he gets the chance to start at MLB, and its a good trade for the Panthers money wise, but im going to cringe if he becomes the Beason of old for the Giants.  We will be fine with Blackburn at WLB, but Beason was a favorite of mine and to let him go for a 7th rounder has me thinking this organization doesnt believe in Beason anymore.

I can't say that I'd really be surprised, mainly because of our salary cap situation. Beason is a baller but he'll never play MLB here, unless Kuechly gets hurt. I wish him the best..
