Beason traded?

Anyone else getting that weird sense of irony that the last time Beason stepped on the field and was worth a poo was @ Arizona two years ago? Now we'll trade him right before we go back? Maybe he told Gettleman that place gives him nightmares or something.

The physical is not a formality. Beason told me at start of training camp some guys who've had microfracture played in pain rest of career.

Why do people keep saying it is a 7th round pick? That's not been confirmed at all.

 

For the same reason that people are saying that Beason's career is over.

 

Neither is an absolute but it makes your point sound better if it is.

 

If Beason's career is over then at least we are getting something for him, right?

I am not a Beason fan boy. I was blasted on here for saying he was done as a legit player and to draft Luke way before it was cool. I wanted Luke to get the job immediately. Luke is my favorite player in the team.

I got no emotional ties to Beason. I don't get emotional ties to players which is why I rub so many people wrong.

Luke comments often about how Beason aids him....that is just me listening to the horse talk. His mouth.

To me, per what Panther players say about him since he has been demoted.....his role here in 2013 has more value than a 7th. would have rather cut him before the season or after for no pick

Of course it sucks....but you don't value nostalgia. This is 2013, not three years prior. In the grand scheme of the team, no one should give a hot poo what he did 4 years ago.

dude I'm not gonna argue w/ you that a 7th rounder seems like a shitty trade for us...but there isn't anything we can do about it and at least now we don't have to worry about Beason getting abused by a TE in critical moments 

 

other "leaders" gotta step up! this is a season for it because as we've seen in the past hour a lot of people's jobs are on the line.
