Beason traded?

yeah but his cap hit was nearly 6.2 million, even after the restructure.

That doesn't mean the 6.2 million cap hit disappears when we trade him. A lot of that is from the signing bonus and other bonuses that have already been paid to him. We take the cap hit for that whether he's here or traded. The only thing we are saving is the remainder of his base salary (13/16 of 1 million).

Does it make you feel better about yourself to make jokes at my expense all the time? And then hide behind the fact that you're a moderator that has banned me on multiple occasions?

It's okay with me. I was just wondering if all this made you feel like more of a man.

A little bit.

You're a bit over dramatic. If this was Beason 4 years ago I'd say this is crazy. Today with Luke and his injury he has become replaceable

Stewart up next?

Just sayin, how many high priced backs can one team afford.

Browns obviously didn't need a megabuck RB to win games

We certainly could thin our stable a bit

They literally just signed Willis off the streets and are 3-2...really puts into perspective just how shitty Hurney was.

We desperately needed WR help too.

You weren't getting Nicks (if that's what you're alluding to) for Beason.

One is a functional player. The other is trying to prove he can still play in the league. The Giants did the deal, cause they're desperate for good LB play, and Beason was one of the best. He was worth the risk to them.

Beason is out of the league in 3 years or less.  He has little physically left to offer.  Might be a good coach like Brentson Buckner someday but unfortunately he got hurt in the wrong appendages and cannot overcome with effort the lack of cartilage.

God's speed Jon Beason.
