Guys, Beason probably wanted to leave too. Think about it. He was the man here on defense for years, the absolute leader. Then we draft Kuechly who quickly outplays him and replaces him as captain and leader of the defense. Do you think a guy as prideful as Beason would want to stay here? No way, dude is way too competitive to take a backseat with plenty of years left in his career. He'll get to start for the Giants and provide sorely needed leadership there. Just wish him the best and move on, geez.
