Durham (N.C.) Riverside High senior running back Joel Evans was no stranger to generating video game statistics. After all, he already had a pair of 230-yard games this season. But Friday night was different. In fact, nobody's seen anything quite like it.
That's 34.9 yards per carry, and that's ridiculous. Just 5-foot-6, 175 pounds, Evans scored on runs of 66, 36, 43, 81, 67 and 56 yards. Yup, his shortest touchdown run was 36 yards.

Those are some insane numbers.

That's crazy.

Does anyone remember that kid from Kannapolis who had something like 48 rushing TDs, several punt return TDs and a handful of receiving TDs... in one year?

He went to FSU then I don't think he ever got off the practice squad in the NFL.

-just shows how great NFL athletes are

You're talking about Nick Maddox. I watched him destroy my high school's Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. Beat them like 96-6 back in 2000 or something. He had talent. Ran around everybody. Not sure what happened to him. My guess is that he just peaked early.
