Meh. Criticizing Cam is the one topic that will get the local radio stations phone lines buzzing. Charlotte is packed full of Panther haters and transplants just chomping at the bit to rip the home team and Cam. Just about 9/10 callers start their calls by saying "I'm not a Panther fan, but I think Cam/Panthers.....".

Yeah because it has really hurt him this year right?  Forget that his passer rating is above his career average so far this year.  That few weeks really hurt.

 

Bigger question.  Why ever listen to that station??

it's just like people watching/reading/listening to espn....they know it's crap, at least they should.

 

they know that if they pay attention to what espn says it's 95% guaranteed to be bs and more than likely they are going to get pissed about something.

 

but they keep going back to it like a dog returns to it's vomit. it's not good for them, but they are addicted.

 

i think people sometimes just like to get  worked up about something so they put themselves in a situation where they have an excuse. some people just like to argue so they look for it and find it, even if there really isn't one.

 

everytime i see someone get pissed off by something they read or hear i just shake my head because it's usually their fault for getting pissed. most people who get pissed on, pissed on themselves. if you don't want to get pissed, stay away from situations that you kniw you're likely to get pissed about. 

 

if you don't want someone pissing in your cheerios, quit putting the bowl next to the toilet.

Heath Evans on the Mac Attack this morning go off on Cam and criticize him about going back to auburn to get his degree this summer instead of being with the team bla bla bla and how he should wait until after his career to get his degree instead, then the idiot hosts are just running their mouths saying Evans actually has a valid point and they're talking like he missed all of training camp or something, what idiots.

I know, I know, they're all idiots and who cares what they think Yadda yadda yadda but I just wanted to vent a bit about these bozos and this is obviously the best platform to do so on. Shaking my god damn head.

I have an 1 1/2 hour drive into work and listened the whole time. Heath Evans did not "Go off" on Cam Newton going back to school he mearly discussed if he did it at the right time with a new OC and scheme going into place and the hosts are not encouraging the hate especially Chris McClain. He was defending Cam and saying Heath had some valid points but he would never criticize someone for going back to school and kept bringing up the fact that no one can prove him going back to school this summer was detrimental to the team. .

 

In fact, callers were calling in asking Mac why he was so afraid to criticize Cam.  And for what it's worth, Heath has always been a Cam supporter and said he is the best of all the young QB's and could revolutionize the position. Also has said that if Cam was in RG3's offensive system he would far succeed anything RG3 accomplished with it. Heath doesn't always sing praises about Panthers but he is a fan of Cam. Only the overly sensitive Cam supporters would be upset by what he said and as usual only seeing Cam hate without being objective on what is being discussed.

I need to get Sirius again.  WFNZ is a joke, and, just when you try it yet again and think it will be bearable, it proves time and again the opposite.  Unrelated, but Brett Jensen just said that we should be pulling for the Saints this week.  He just said it.  He said they're going to run away with the division anyway so we should accept this and hope for the wild card.  Nevermind that some books even have them as an underdog this week and they will be an underdog next week at New England (while we should be favored this entire month).  Nevermind that they still have to play @Seattle, @Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas, and a team that swept them last year, the Carolina Panthers, twice.  God-awful.  GOD-AWFUL.  GOD-AWFUL!!!!!
