Yahoo Cards and Panthers preview

Oh yea, that ol' any given Sunday thing. Sure they can beat us.

That does not mean they will, or should, or anything like that.

We are the better team. Nay, we are a good team. The Cards? Not so much.

Let go of that fear. Or don't. Either way, the future is bright.

You obviously haven't been paying attention since 2008

We lost to the Bills....we need to prove we are a good team first.

Cards best win is better than ours so far

Found this on John Clayton's 1st & 10 article...link below.

"The Carolina Panthers have one of the best front fours in football. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer continues to have problems with interceptions. Palmer, according to ESPN Stats & Information, has thrown six interceptions when he's hit or under duress."

Could be a big day for our defense.

I know you obviously have. I mean, do we have the same coach, QB, O-line, D-line, ah hellz, team, we did back then? No. We have a totally different team. And "This team" is primed and ready to take the next step.

I don't have a problem with folks taking the wait and see avenue. Just don't expect the rest of us, that see the bright future, to follow along. I'm taking the expressway to the future. Not the main street of the past.

Shula was too conservative against the Hawks, then went overboard against the Bills. Yet we played two good games, and maybe should have won both games. Then we dialed it in against the Giants. Oh, and we won that game.

Neither Shula nor Rivera are idiots. They saw what happens when you let Cam be Cam. This whole team plays better. I expect that same team to show up against the Cards.

Go ahead and doubt away. Me? I see a team that is playing good football. I see a team that is primed and ready to step up. This team is better than it was two years ago. This team is better than it was last year. This team is better than most Huddlers give them credit for.

And the Cards are not a team that worries me. Sad on Offense, and decent on Defense. We are better on both sides of the ball. So yeah, I expect a victory this week.

I like being excited about this team. Lots of folks like being skeptical. I just think my way is more fun. That, and I find the folks that go overboard with their skepticism entertaining. Like my nephew when he does not get his own way. Annoyingly loud, but funny none the less.

Ron mentioned that you have to score points against a team like the giants in one of his pressers. It didn't sit well, because he should feel that way against every team. Why not put the game away early? We have the potential to do so. It seems like he always finds an excuse because the defense gets tired in the fourth quarter. It's almost like he doesn't understand that scoring points early will help his d out more than anything else. Maybe he's turned the corner?

Out of the whole body of examples of where Ron has messed up as a coach, him saying answering a standard football presser question with a standard football answer is the thing that bothers you

Shula's gameplan against the Hawks was solid. Players didn't execute and we lost (Olsen and Williams being to big offenders).

I think we win a ugly game....just pointing out there isn't enough respect given to our opponent right now by some.

Football is all about matchups. AZ IMO is a bad defensive matchup for us....bc of that we need a big game from our front 4.....bc if they don't show up bad teams with bad QBs will move the ball on our D. I think we get the win....just too many gloss over how good AZ D matches up to what we want to do on O

The closer it gets the less optimistic I get. Cards have more momentum than us coming fresh off a rallying win and will be infrnt of a pumped home crowd knowing this win puts them over .500, they are getting Washington back as well. Panthers dont handle success well and the bye week came at the worst possible time, add in the fact the Giants also got shut out by the Chiefs which makes me queation if that victory was a hollow one.

Arians is a better coach than Rivera and I think the Cardinals are overall the better team. Sorry, have to go with the Cards here as much as it pains me. We are 0-2 after the bye in the Camvera era.

You suck.

It's the way he said it and what I took from the comment.  Maybe it means nothing, but Rivera is pretty open during his pressers and sometimes gives too much information.  That's just my opinion though.  Totally different than listening to Fox.
