If they sign him expecting insight into our offense they'll be disappointed considering Shula basically says "uhh let's try this I guess" every week so far.

It is too late in the week for him to sign with an upcoming opponent. The rules about practice squad guys are pretty specific about things like opponents and even if they are called up to replace players with infectious diseases.

He was placed on PS Injured list due to injury not performance.

I could try to save face here and say something like "doesn't mean he won't be snapped up" but I'll admit that I thought he was part of the regular roster and just hadn't been active on gamedays. My mistake.

But I'm pretty sure that the replacement guy has to be on the active roster for at least a week. Does anybody know how that works?
