Tablet

In the market for a new tablet. Any recommendations?

 

If there is such a thing as a tablet with HDMI input (not output) I would be all over it.

Curious as to why input?

 

iPad pretty much has that wrapped up and I'm not really an Apple sheep...

 

Some other good options though... not sure about HDMI in however.

hdmi input would allow it to be a large cheap monitor for my camera.

You can't get anything with hdmi but you can get adapters.  If I were to get a tablet right now it'd be a nexus.

I seriously doubt you would go this direction but just a warning to everyone else to stay away from the Kindle Fire.  This was my third Kindle and the first two were great.  Then they came out with this latest one with the large screen and it blows.  Serious problems with it just randomly restarting on you right when you are in the middle of a movie or something.  I did some research and found out this is happening so much that some stores won't even carry them now.  I think I could send mine back and get a new one but I honestly don't think I want another one.

I am a multi ipad owner.

I use the hell out of it everyday

One thing that sucks is there is no USB input

The new windows tablet looks pretty cool, I was hoping someone was going to review it on here

I'm actually using my Nexus 7 right now, if you type Nexus the spell checker wants to change the word to Jesus so it has that going for it. But seriously it's great and I really enjoy it.

I really like my Galaxy Tab 3.

Galaxy Note here and it's nice, but it was a gift that I never researched myself so I really don't know anything about any other models.

I just got the Galaxy Tab 3 and really like it, such that I'll probably ditch my iPhone and get a Samsung next time.

I researched before I bought mine, and boiled it down to the Nexus and the Galaxy. The Nexus seemed like the best for the least money, so that's what I bought.

 

So far it's been a nice little gadget. I use it more than I thought I would.

I went with the phablet galaxy note 3 because I needed a new phone and a new tablet.

 

 

So far it has exceeded expectations.
