Welp, a lesson learned by the NFL thanks to the Bucs...

"But the media played a role here. I'm not using this to attack ESPN or Mortensen in particular, but the media in general -- because we do this too much. A few years ago when ex-Gator Cam Newton was dominating college football at Auburn, someone with an axe to grind leaked Newton's academic information at Florida to FOXSports.com. That's potentially a violation of federal law, and beyond that it's a mean, scummy, tiny thing to do to a college kid. But by golly this was a scoop (!), so the reporter ran the story. Because he could."

Everyone knows who leaked Cam's story. Or should I say, allowed the story to get out to get back at Cam and his father for not going to the school of his choice.

Don't get why the Bucs' management are treating Josh the way they are. So shameful. Didn't realize the NFL was filled with Choirboys.

Jay Glazer just reported on FFD Josh Freeman was asked not to attend a Bucs team meeting today

BREAKING: Bucs have reportedly asked Freeman if he would please eat his lunch standing over the sink in the bathroom and not in team facilities.

Josh Freeman fined twice by Buccaneers in last month. The fine could give the Buccaneers an opportunity, if future detrimental actions occur, to suspend Freeman without pay. If suspended, it could make it easier for the Bucs to trade Freeman without paying his salary.

All the people who complain about JR and our organization need to read this whole article. I had no idea it was so ugly over there. I had to look up who the owner of the Bucs was because I couldn't believe he is letting this happen under his watch (but then again, he is the owner of Manchester United, a far more successful franchise, and maybe is paying more attention to them). This is a shame. We better sweep them. I hate losing, but we better not lose one game to this classless organization. This goes beyond football; at this point, I could care less that they are in the NFCS; as Mr. Doyle said

.

...I don't care who you are or what it is you do -- there's a right way to do things. And there's a wrong way. And since hiring Greg Schiano, the Bucs have repeatedly done it wrong.

I like Freeman but this type of stuff has been happening to Cam ( excluding drugs) and now everyone wants to get sentimental.

cam hasn't had this happen to him.

he's had the media turn against him, but never his team....which is actually worse. he's getting stabbed in the back by people who should have had his back.

the way that coaching staff and organization has been handling him and other players has been nothing short of despicable. they can't just move on from players, they have to destroy them. not sure I've ever seen a team act like that before. tampa is going to be having a ton of poo flying their way from the league,  players union, and potential lawsuits.
