Titans listening to offers for Kenny Britt

Drafting Sammy Watkins doesn't have anything to do with acquiring Britt.

For that matter, having LaFelll doesn't have anything to do with acquiring Britt either.

You guys kill me with an either/or type scenario. The main question is whether or not Britt can be had for a lower round draft pick. The second question is whether or not his presence will upset our somewhat questionable apple cart. I suspect that Britt can be had for probably a 6th, but I certainly wouldn't pay any more than a 5th (and would think very hard about doing that). Moreover, I don't think Britt's presence would affect our locker room (because we have Smitty, Cam, and other vets that wouldn't allow him to get out of line). The only other real question is whether or not he's worth a later round draft pick, and whether we'd be losing out on anyone with as much or greater potential with that pick.

It is still my contention that Cam needs more weapons. We need another legitimate every down threat. Perhaps Britt could be that guy. Britt is still young, and if he could get anywhere close to his pre-injury form, then he would be a guy that defenses dare not take for granted (much like they have done LaFell for going on four years, now). The Broncos didn't stop trying to add more weapons to Peyton Manning's already talented WR corp. Now he has legitimate game breakers at every wide-out position. This should be our goal.

Great points. Unfortunately I think Jerry Richardson's thought process as it relates to potential goid deals has poisoned some of the fanbase. I feel that this is the difference between good and great teams. Teams like the Patriots, Falcons, Broncos,Seahawks, and Bengals are all over these deals. The Panthers instead set back and pay the same amount for marginals players like Dominik Hixon...

.. or you could wait until the end of the season when they cut him and get him for the vet minimum and keep your pick..

We got some chemistry with Smitty, LaFell and Ginn right now.  Why bring in someone who probably isn't 100%.and be more of a hindrance then help.

Wait till end of season and give him a vet minimum unguaranteed contract.  He can compete and make the team.

There will be a ton of receivers available at the end of the year for no draft picks.  Why give up a 5th or 6th rounder for a guy who will be cut?  After all we got Hardy for a 6th rounder and the Captain for a 7th.  There is no reason to get anyone at this point or waste any draft picks.

not that I am at all in favor for Britt, but the reason is to make a run this year.  have you already conceded this year and already looking to next?

Britt has been trouble throughout his career. So no for him.

Give me Sammy Watkins or another top play maker and save that 5th or 6th rounder for a corner, safety, or o-lineman.

See what chud wants for Gordon. Prolly not possible, but if we're going to give cam a playmaker, let's get him a top flight dude.

Plus, there's a couple of proven WR that will be free agents next year . Eric Decker, Jeremy maclin (if he recovers), nicks and some others. Save the draft picks unless it's a top flight guy.
