And that is your opinion. (My second Big Bang Theory reference of the day.)

It has been documented that Lafell has been open quite a bit and still not gotten looks. No WR is open every play, so please don't cherry pick.

After last week, I expect him to get more looks as the year progresses. Cam and Shula saw what happens when you spread the ball around. That is the team we were at the end of last year. And that is the team we want to be going forward.

Using stats to judge a player is just not a good way to determine his ability. Stats are for fans and contracts.

stats equal production. stats make the number on the scoreboard change. number dont lie. lafail has yet to produce consistently

I'm not big on Lafell, but I do believe if he is given some more looks he could get those stat production, add a few numbers on the scoreboard and produce consistently.

But like iamhubby is saying, you cant catch the ball if it isn't thrown to you.

And seriously, knock it off with the lafail bullshit.

It's unimaginative, childish, and a very un-fan thing to say/do.

Watkins is a thug... he will have a few highlight plays and then a million bonehead plays.

Trust me I see him once a month. Wearing a gold grille barely understanding anything he says. Doing things you wouldnt want your football player to do.

No thanks.

Much better options on the board.

and here we go with the thug reference.

No thanks. Sammy Watkins.

Drafting Sammy Watkins doesn't have anything to do with acquiring Britt.

For that matter, having LaFelll doesn't have anything to do with acquiring Britt either.

You guys kill me with an either/or type scenario. The main question is whether or not Britt can be had for a lower round draft pick. The second question is whether or not his presence will upset our somewhat questionable apple cart. I suspect that Britt can be had for probably a 6th, but I certainly wouldn't pay any more than a 5th (and would think very hard about doing that).  Moreover, I don't think Britt's presence would affect our locker room (because we have Smitty, Cam, and other vets that wouldn't allow him to get out of line).  The only other real question is whether or not he's worth a later round draft pick, and whether we'd be losing out on anyone with as much or greater potential with that pick.

It is still my contention that Cam needs more weapons. We need another legitimate every down threat. Perhaps Britt could be that guy. Britt is still young, and if he could get anywhere close to his pre-injury form, then he would be a guy that defenses dare not take for granted (much like they have done LaFell for going on four years, now). The Broncos didn't stop trying to add more weapons to Peyton Manning's already talented WR corp. Now he has legitimate game breakers at every wide-out position. This should be our goal.

Great points. Unfortunately I think Jerry Richardson's thought process as it relates to potential goid deals has poisoned some of the fanbase. I feel that this is the difference between good and great teams. Teams like the Patriots, Falcons, Broncos,Seahawks, and Bengals are all over these deals. The Panthers instead set back and pay the same amount for marginals like Dominik Hixon...
