I think the practice field has some weight in who starts. But IMO, White has earned another start.

Put Mitchell and Mikell at safety. With White, Dockery, and Captain. I can live with that.

Also, it really would behoove us to keep feeding the kids some playing time. Lester surprised me, get him some plays to see if it was just beginners luck or if he really can contribute.

Maybe our secondary is not as bad as we perceived it to be? Some pretty good starters, and some kids playing well to provide quality depth. Man, who'd a thunk it?

When the front seven produces the kind of pressure they did on Eli, it REALLY helps out a secondary.

As long as our front 4 keeps dominating we could drop 7 Kurbs into coverage and still get it done.

 

A good secondary allows for our front 4 to have more time to get to the QB, so yes it does matter who we have in the secondary. A couple of the sacks against the giants was coverage sacks.
