Marqise Lee suffers bad knee injury

So was every SoCal receiver before him...

how? name another USC WR with his athleticism, speed, ability, and work ethic. or even the same passion for the game as Lee. he and Lane was the reason why Robert Woods got pushed down to the 2nd most targets on that team last season, when he caught 118 balls.

It's not worth it. Everyone knows what Marqise will be because obviously Marqise is the same person as Dwayne Jarrett....

Oh btw....

Robert Woods is averaging 20 yards per reception, and had a 42 yard touchdown yesterday for anyone wondering how that other scrub from USC was doing....

When did I ever say that?  I just don't get where you can justify saying Marqise is the same guy as DJ or KC.  Also, bit early to be lumping Barkley with Sanchez and Leinart doncha think?

What I find funny is that if Lee played for (insert SEC school here), or just about any other program in the country I would be willing to bet every single person on the huddle would be drooling over him.  But because he plays for USC some of you look past the player he is and say he's destined to bust.  I suggest you take some time to research the person Marqise Lee is, and read about his past before you say he's destined to be, or has the work ethic of every other USC WR this decade....

Am I saying he's perfect, or he's going to be the best WR to ever play the game when he's done?  Absolutely not.  There's a bunch of little flaws to his game that he needs to work on to reach his ceiling.  He still tries to go all or nothing far too much, he needs to be more physical through press coverage, and he needs to continue to refine his route tree among other things.  But to look at his uniform and say he's going to bust, or he's destined to be the next DJ because of the logo on his helmet is completely shortsighted and asinine.  He's not Dwayne Jarrett, or Keary Colbert, or Patrick Turner or any of the Wide Receivers who've played at USC in the 2000's.  He's not even the same type of Wide Receiver as those guys....

Dez uses his body a lot better than Lee and he has better hands in my opinion.  Even at Okie St.

Just the guy who he reminds me of as far as projecting forward. I can see Maclin comparisons too.  People too often forget (or don't know) Marqise has only been playing Wide Receiver since his Senior year of High School, and organized football all together since his Sophomore year.  Lee will continue to get better.  His ceiling in my opinion is Dez Bryant.  I can see him learning to use his body better, and becoming a more consistent hands catcher (which he has shown ability to be plenty of times in the past)

One thing I can say is that Lee is a better route runner at this point in his career than Dez was.  Dez tended to round off his routes really badly all the way up until last season really.  A guy with Lee's speed and route running ability will have a long, successful career if he keeps working.
