Marqise Lee suffers bad knee injury

I don't know a lot regarding college football so I was hoping someone else would have started the thread by now.

Last night, down by 27 late in the fourth, Marqise lee suffered a knee injury returning a punt. He had to be carted off the field and looked to be in great pain.

I hope the man is ok and wish him the best in his recovery, but assuming his injury is significant, how does this affect his draft stock? Would he fall to late first round or early second if he misses most of training camp? Would he be an ideal selection if we continue to win games?

with his skill set, i think he still goes in the 1st half depending on if the knee rehabs right. i hate it for the guy, plenty of talent.special talents should be allowed to leave before their JR years, and he is one.

Really? His freshman year as the #2 WR he was 35th in Div 1-A with 73 receptions, 29th in yardage at 1143 yards and 18th in TDs with 11.

 

2012 as the #1 he was #1 in the country with 118 catches, 1832 yards (2nd) and 14 TDs (3rd).

 

Prior to this injury he was easily a first rounder and scouts are smart enough to understand this is a bad USC team this year, but Lee, with 30 receptions through 5 games this season, is now the all-time leading receiver in USC history.

He already told the USC insiders that he probably wouldn't even miss a game. Hopefully coach Helton can design some unique plays to get him the ball down the stretch, now that Kiffin is gone...

I didn't mention his career. I meant to say he hasn't look as good as the previous seasons. A lot of the blame do go toward the QB but you would think that he should take more of a bigger role being pretty much the only and main offensive weapon at USC. Haven't been wowed with his performance this year.

As long as it's nothing more severe than a sprain then he's safe, but if it turns into a tear I could totally see him fall out of the first three rounds.
