Bye week opinions...B. Williams going to shine or fall?

Speaking of Armanti... has he even been able to get open at all this year or is Cam just not throwing him the ball?

 

On the TD to Ginn if the Safety had not moved down to defend AE's route then he would have been wide open on a very deep dig.  Instead we got the TD over the top to Ginn.

I know Williams has been given a jersey and has been stalking the sidelines. He is raw and his blocking may be holding him back a bit. Really haven't heard anything much since the preseason about him. We could really use that two tight end set again to supplement our offense and he would fit the bill. Think we will see him at all this year or are they stashing him away for development.I know they can not risk the practice squad ,he would be plucked by another team quickly. Think he is in our plans at all this season?

 

Too early to tell how he will turn out. He's still plenty raw, and IMO we haven't needed much from him, with Ginn emerging as a complementary receiver, and the running game getting going last week. It's encouraging that he made the final roster, though. He probably needs extensive further development, but he could turn into a weapon.

I dont think hes that far off from at least seeing a couple snaps. He's getting a jersey so he's not totally out of the picture. I wouldnt be surprised to see some of him after they bye.

I'm hoping to see Klein, Barner and Williams all get some snaps after the Bye.

 

Seems like now is as good a time as any to introduce a new, fast TE to the mix with Ginn starting to draw more attention away from the rest of the field, Williams, Smith, Olsen and Co should all be able to work the short and intermediate routes with Ginn's speed keeping a S deep.

Well Lamont Bryant--with all of his absurd athleticism couldn't make the PS, and David Gettis--despite being the GOAT got cut.  All this while Brandon Williams made the 53-man roster as an UDFA who hasn't played football in 2 years and was flipping burgers and shooting hoops at some christian school on the side.  

 

At least we know we might potentially have something with him.  That's promising enough.  That and the dude looks like the black Hercules.

 

 

Oh, and he looks damn good in black and blue.

I don't expect a raw rookie player to have a role on game days.

This doesn't mean that I don't wish to see his positive impact on gamedays.
