Cam fined 10k

Alright Huddlers we've got a mission for the bye week now. Need 31 volunteers to visit the official NFL team websites, look at the pictures they have posted recently and note any of the same visor clip violations. If Cam's gotta pay, he's not gonna go down by himself.

I got the Bucs.

Another thing to do is go through the recent game day writeups on espn and click on photos and scan through those, theres normally about 20-50 depending on the game/matchup.  Theres gotta be some nice incriminating closeups on there.

Cam should not have to pay it, the equipment manager should. Cam doesn't outfit his own helmet.

The equipment manager chose those clips for everyone on the team that wears them including deangelo and charles.

Yep. I was thinking this as well, but it seems a lot of equipment managers didn't know about this rule, so this falls on the NFL for not being clear with them.

ESPN breaking news: Cam newton blames uniform violation on Equipment Manager. Equipment manager forced to pay hefty $10 k fine......or something like that.

Other players who have worn the clips are Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle PryorSan Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid and Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon, according to Forbes.com. The Charlotte Observer reported that at least three other Panthers -- defensive endsGreg Hardy and Charles Johnson, and running back DeAngelo Williams -- have worn the Under Armour clips. A source, however, said they were not fined because the black clips were on black facemasks; Newton's were more noticeable because they were black clips on a gray facemask.

What the hell.

Does ESPN and it's source even know who the Panthers are? The league apparently doesn't even know the Panthers have black facemasks, I guess they just took Chris Smith on his word.
