Best poo that ever happened to PC gaming was when ID put out that Demo disk and mysteriously that crack to unlock all of the full versions of their games including Quake 1.....  That made that game soo... freaking popular. As well as pirating.. I swear it was a revolution to PC gaming. That and OpenGL and that Verte technology or whatever the f it was called.

 

Hahaha....I remember...didn't this CDROM also have the NiN Quake soundtrack? I should have this disk in storage somewhere in my parents attic. (damn, someday they really will make me clean out my crap....free storage 20 years and running)
