Play GM: A 4th Round pick in Week 5 or 6 for Hakeem Nicks? Would you guys take it?

I just don't think he is worth a big contract and a draft pick. I think that decision would have a very high probability of backfiring on us. Not to mention hampering our ability to sign adequate players in other areas of need too.

I'd offer a 3rd no higher but with some kind of guaranteed contract.  Not sure the Gaints will fold all in though especially with their conference...I mean Dallas can fold at anytime we all know how Dallas does it....and the rest even with the gaints 0-3 they are what 1 game back from the rest and two from Dallas...I mean still realistic for them to get back into contention they are known for slow starts sometimes....

No need to trade a pick. He probably won't resign with the Giants anyway. And yeah...I'd still take Watkins in Rd 1as well.

I'd like to see him come home, but I don't think they should break the bank for him. Who are we kidding anyway - it's not in the Panthers history to go and give a FA who would probably help the team a competitive contract. 

 

I'm sure that the Panthers front office would rather offer Greg Little a 1 yr deal vet

Wait and sign him in the offseason in FA.  His price tag will not be as big as everyone thinks because injuries and stats this year with giants being so bad.

 

Call me a UNC homer but trade a 6th for Greg Little.  Kid has had off the field troubles but is from NC and loads of talent.

Bring in Nicks (a former teammate of his in college).  Between Smitty and Nicks, they Should be able fix something in that head of his.

Cam seems to take awhile to get use to receivers. I think it would just mess up Cam's system to bring in another receiver. He is finally seeing the ones he's got not just Olsen and Smith.
