Deangelo Williams speaks his mind re: Chud

Wow, I just read the comments... like seriously... do people on Yahoo articles EVER know what the fug they're talking about or just constantly spout poo out their ass?  They seriously have the worst comment sections I've ever seen, and the most idiotic ones are always the most upvoted.

Riiiight, it was Rob Chudzinski who reduced your production.. Not the fact that your franchise drafted Jonothan Stewart two years after taking you. Not the fact they bring in a 'backup' running back for you nearly every year because your injured every other game.

Easier to blame others than look in the mirror

Williams played a game under Chud????? Funny, I don't remember that, I just remember Williams being hurt for about 90% of the games over the last four years.

And those are just two of the first ones I saw... I'm not digging any deeper than that.

Frankly I don't give a damn about who is "right" in this scenario.  I see it as this: our entire offense absolutely hated the system Chud ran, whether or not it was good.  The simple fact that he is gone, and the players wanted him gone might, JUST MIGHT, mean they are going to go out and execute whatever play is called with 100% effort.  You can't really believe our guys on offense were giving it their all when after every play that is called in the huddle the players collectively roll their eyes and groan.

I agree completely. We have a hungry stable of backs, and one obvious way to piss them off is to give them the majority of their rushing reps from the shotgun. Imagine knowing that almost every rushing attempt you are gonna have is gonna be another dumpster-fire draw play or a pre-determined fail at the read option.

Read option has simply been a very productive play in Carolina. Very.

Williams is the one RB who struggles the most with it.....that doesn't make it bad.

This year I would say it's productive...definately not last year under Chud, which is what I was referring to.

Statistically it was.... Observer broke it down and what the average play was out of it. It was in 2011 as well.

Chud did use Williams poorly at it. It isn't as simplistic as people act. Stewart takes his reads into different gaps....makes a differene
