1.  Who gives a poo what the "media experts say"?  You guys let the talking heads get to you and you care too much.

 

2.  DWill got most of his yards EXACTLY when he should have....when we decided to spare the Giants and milk the clock with the running game.  The Giants KNEW we were going to run then....and they still could not stop it.  That actually is more impressive that being able to amass rushing yards earlier in the game when a team is mixing it up.

 

We imposed our will on both offense and defense in that game.  We did what we wanted to, when we wanted to do it.

 

And the "media experts" can just kiss my ass.

I am proud to have matured from a time when I did not realize in actuality the facade that media matters in the slightest.

 

They are there to sell ads.  The bigger the city the more proof you will find in the theory that whining about problems without presenting any reasonable solutions sells more advertising than any other approach.  The GP loves to whine and therefore gravitates toward whiners with a "voice".

 

Strong men scare people.  Crybabies with sympathy and empathy is what Gen Y feels comfortable with.

This was NOT intended to be because I am "butthurt" because some nimwit on NFL Network has made some stupid statement.

I made the point that I really do hope that the Panthers add these doubters as fuel because the more fuel in the fire the more hungry they will be to win.

And there was segment about the Giants implosion and they brought in a NY Giants insider.

At one point it was brought up by the insider that the Panthers were not a very good team and the Giants loss was basically because there was no unity at all or something along that poo.. But again, not because Carolina has talent.

Now that is such a typical statement by mainstream media but here is the kicker of this segment...

The segment continued when something was brought up about our run game and about DeAngelo going over 100 yards. The NY insider didn't even compliment our run game yet instead to proceed to say that the only reason Williams got that much yardage was due to GARBAGE TIME.... Really? GARBAGE TIME?

A message to the outside media: Continue to make your snarky comments because it will only spark this team more. Clearly you are tooo lazy to research and I can"t wait for you to eat crow come the end of the season.

These statements is the reason why I hope we continue to spark and will light something in the players.

I really hate to harp, but my god I can't get with a players mentality that needs fuel to the fire just to become above average..  

 

maybe to throw up 50 points instead of 35...  They shouldn't need any reason outside of themselves just to win a game.  

 

Maybe they do..  Gettleman should be weeding that mentality out throughout the next year before he worries about finding enough bulletin board material just to get them to show up on Sundays...  That makes sense right?
