First win after a Cam INT

There is a difference between typing up things and standing by them, and returning to them when you are disproven. Versus simply pretending like said comments never happened and tucking tail and running off.

I never retracted comments--you just didn't understand what I repeatedly said--that I was concerned about Gettlemen's perspective.  The intelligent posters here understood that. Why do you thnk you were the only one getting upset and accusing me of having opinions?  It was because you did not understand the posts and you still don't.  I am sorry public schools failed you.

The closest the Giants came to scoring was on a turnover. And it does not matter how many points the offense scored if the Giants were shutout, as long as the number was one.

Anyone who watched this game would agree that the defense deflated the Giants early--the game was technically over in the first quarter. Hell, the only time they nearly scored was after an interception. We win the game if the offense played like it did vs. Buffalo and Seattle. I can;t tell if your problem is due to a lack of math skills or football acumen. Either way, I prefer to argue with intelligent people who do not attack other's opinions as if their's is the only one. That is a sign of a troll or a fool. Or both.

Who is attacking you?

I think if we won 7-0 or 14-0 nobody would give you poo.But we scored on 6 of our first 8 possessions including 5 TDs.

So to say the defense won the game is being silly.

Since you have superior football acumen to the rest of us answer this, what effects an offense's play calling more? Being down 7 points or 30 points?

Also if the game was only 7-0 then suddenly game pressure influences the game.

Just deal with it being a team win

Or you could argue that it was the first drive of the second half that finally broke them.

17 points looks a lot more achievable that 24

But both sides did a great job.

4 of our TD drives were 60 yards or longer.

It was a team effort. Doesn't have to be one or the other

Sure you could.  I was just making a positive statement about the defense--I have never seen an NFL performance so dominant.  I think they fed the offense and maybe they gave Shula the balls he needed to turn Cam loose.  However, the defense let the Giants know in the first quarter that they were not going anywhere.

The others are trolling me--they think I am not entitled to an opinion because my posts hurt their feelings.

One of the things you rambled on and on about was a quote from Gettleman about winning. When I provided you with the actual context from said quote, you never mentioned it again or even acknowledged it. How strange.

If you want people to respect your "opinions", start by standing by them.

Ah yes, instead of actually trying to man up and backup all that drivel you spewed, you resort to insults.

So not only are you a coward, you are a hypocrite. Dually noted.

When you accuse me of not manning up, are you typing it on the internet?  And you call me a hypocrite and a coward?  Bahahaahaa.  That is the saddest thing I have ever read, but funny.  Cyber Rambo.

I am not saying you are wrong about them trolling you, but be honest, arent you are trolling them right back?

I did.  now go away and shut up.  This is obviously too personal for you to handle.

I'm not trolling you, you're just being dense.

This was a team win, get over it.  That's all I said and all I mean.  I'm not trying to call you out for anything you did or whatever, I don't give a poo what you said in past weeks.

CRA is that you? Yes the Defense played lights out. They deserve all the credit you want to give them.

But...the Offense played one hellofagame themselves. They deserve credit as well.

Saying the Defense won the game is a disservice to the Offense.

We spanked a team that even most Huddlerz thought we would lose to. Yeah beer.

Oh...and I still think the future is bright.

We're all typing on the internet here. In case you missed it.

I haven't threatened you, like your buddy jarhead does. Whom by the way still hasn't posted since that thread.

I suppose expecting you to hold yourself accountable for what you say is asking too much.

Oh did you now, where and when was this?

Funny you are referring to other people as cyber rambo, but calling people clueless and telling them to shut up because they have the gall to expect you to be a man of your word and not back out like you never said something.

    • This is why it's probably going to be hard to trade down. This draft is fairly light on top tier talent but pretty deep in talent of that next tier down. I don't think there's going to be a lot of teams clamoring to move up and numerous teams might be entertaining moving down. Not a good market to trade down if that's the case.
    • And if they can't find a reasonable trade down (I think we would need a 2nd rounder this year bare minimum to make any trade down worth it). I would definitely expect Dan to trade UP for an EDGE or LB in the top half of R2. Just makes too much sense. We also have a plethora of mid round picks to use as ammo.
    • I don't mean to make this a mock draft thread particularly,  but every time I do a mock I have been investigating the talent that goes off the board between picks 8 and our low 2nd rounder pick 57. There is a gargantuan amount of talent still left on the board in the top half of the 2nd round every time I do one. Losing our original 2nd round pick to the Bears as the last pick of the Bryce trade stings badly .  I'm particularly looking at elite players like Carson Schwesinger (LB), Luther Burden (WR), Matthew Golden (WR), Maxwell Hairston (CB) , Nick Scourton , Landon Jackson, Donavan Ezeraku (all DEs/OLBs) . The sweet spot in this draft really feels like pick 15 to 40 - ish. This is why the Bears should be making bank with this draft. I don't know how realistic a trade down is from 8, but if we could pick up any teams higher 2nd rounder and still grab their 1st? We'd be cooking with gas man.  Say for example we get Tet McMillan at pick 8, if you wait all the way to 57 you stand the chance of not getting any impact pass rushers in this draft. And I don't think this team can afford that.  I'd personally love for them to take a break from drafting wrs in R1 or R2 (i think we've taken one in the top 2 rounds in the majority of the past few years), and stick to repairing the nfls worse defense in history (in terms of total points against iirc, or was it yards? Also included my most recent mock as an example . Don't put too much into the  late round selections lol
