please more stories of this guy. this is hilarious

You aren't TRD in another form, are you? Because TRD was a huge egomaniac who enjoyed being a total dick to people. Asking for stories of him sounds a bit like TRD in a alternate account. Not saying you are though. That's just how insane the guy was.

Speaking of Cam's so called footwork issues that some of you love to harp on endlessly. I was watching NFLN recap of all the games last night and they were recapping the Pathers/Giants game. One of the Analyst simply marveled at Cam's brute strength. He stated that the ball Cam throw to LaFell in the endzone for a TD was off his backfoot. So, there u go.

So he relied on power over finesse?

the idea cam "can't read defenses" is literally retarded.

if that was true he never would have put up the numbers he did.

i'm sorry but nobody is so fuging physically gifted to put up 60 TDs and 9000 total yards of offense in 2 seasons without knowing how to read NFL defenses.

it's true he may not be perfect at it yet, and he definitely has lots of room to grow, but it's good to know we won't have any more idiotic threads suggesting we trade cam.

This.

Just imagine if Cam ever sharpens his footwork...

He's a beast with erratic mechanics NOW. Newton could be a nightmare for above average secondaries if he learns to throw with more technique and touch.

Speaking of "erractic mechanics,' did you see Luck's imitation of The Golden Calf of Bristol this past Sunday? Oh I forgot, the media isn't  making much of Luck's mechanics so no one is really focused like you are with everything Cam. SMDH

By the way, he practically threw the ball into the dirt but, as usual, the receiver was blamed because Luck is the 'choosen' QB. SMDH

Funny how that line seems to be used by every self-proclaimed "realist" when talking about our QB. How brave you are for standing by your flawed views about the guy you were vehemently against drafting in the first place.

A guy I have passionately supported since his name was called in Radio City Music Hall. A guy I've continuously defended on here and other boards.

A guy, who despite his greatness, still has things that he needs to improve upon.

Wipe his jiz off your chin and accept he isn't perfect and isn't as good as he's going to get, yet.

If it gets the job done, then why not. U seriously believe Peyton and all the other so called "elite" QBs don't throw off their backfoot...Hmmmm

I guess with some folks, if the media don't make much of it, it's not worth paying attention too. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Calm your tits. I am not trying to find flaws with Cam to prove we should ditch him. I just want him to be the best QB he can be so this team wins. As long as the player doesn't carry the baggage like Rapistbuger or Vick, I enthusiastically support any play on the Panthers squad.

his all time favorite player was matt moore and a few people have speculated that they actually might be pals IRL which is why he was so vehemently defensive of him.

one of his honest-to-god opinions was that moore is a more productive, efficient quarterback than cam and is more fit to be a long term NFL starter.  of course cam has long since left him in the dust but this was 2011 when he could sort of make the numbers work.

oh yeah and he was similar to bwood in the sense that he was a california panthers fan and that was seemingly the only thing he liked about the region or the east coast for that matter.

I always find it humorous, when I hear "Cam can't read defenses", when it's clear that "celebrated" guys like Griffin and Kaepernick, are much worse, and therefore protected in their offensive schemes because of it. Luck is not that great either. But at least he, Cam and Tannenhill have earned what ever they got (and therefore don't put up the efficient numbers of a RG3, Kaepernick or Wilson did last year). I've always liked those three and Wilson, more than I've liked RG3 and Kaepernick.

It's amusing to view Huddler's carp on and on about Cam's short and intermediate throws (which he can certainly improve on) as well. Do Huddler's realize, guys like Eli Manning are so bad at it, the Giants don't even throw screens and similar passes for the past several years. It's a rarity/curse word with them. Lol. That's how bad Eli Manning is with screens, being a Gun Slinger type. Are some here even aware of this (along with Eli's inconsistent play, even during his Supe Bowl winning years)?

And of course, all QB's make mistakes, start of slow; have good and bad patches, etc.. That's the nature of the game. But Cam seems to be the only one many Huddler's think is like that. Of course Ron Rivera doesn't help any, by not giving his QB chances to win/close out games (like last week against Buffalo), leaving bitter memories while the Panthers lose, instead of erasing them with sweet victory.

For example: Luck didn't do much on Sunday, in the Colts victory (is was mostly the defense and run game). He did his job basically. Nothing special. However, he'll get all the credit, accolades and spoils that come with the victory. So his performance (or 167 or so yds) won't be scrutinized in the least (along with being the "chosen one" in many media's eyes). Good for him! I'm not hating.

The point is: Cam can certainly improve. No argument there. But I think many Huddler's need perspective, and are way out of line on their expectations and criticisms of Cam. This is especially true, if they actually watched other teams and QB's (IMHO) as they say they do. The games have an ebb and flow (Peyton Manning not withstanding). Lol And even Manning, will have bad throws, games or stretches--as he has. No one is ever perfect through out, especially a Gun Slinger type, with Mediocre receivers who usually don't fight for, come back to the ball, or make incredible catches to save him/make Cam look good, as others appear to do routinely for their QB's. And od course, coaching means a great deal as well. However, I've always/already beaten that dead horse.

Sometimes I wonder if many Huddler's have ever watched other QB's/Games  in the NFL besides Cam and The Panthers??
