i actually went back and looked at the thread of when Cam was drafted. It was hilarious reading people's responses.

 

I didn't want Cam and boy am I glad I was so very wrong.

TRD is a legend, for all the wrong reasons. I actually liked TRD and we had some epic battles on here leading up to that draft.

We ended up with that awkward begrudging respect for one another you get after a good fist fight.

Everyone hated him.but he could single handedly get sny thread to 20 pages just by posting once or twice in it.

He was probably the Huddles greatest troll of all time.

That was actually a fun time. The debate over Can got so intense here there was no room for middle ground.

The entire Huddle was broken into two groups known as Cam nuthuggers and Cam haters. And it was pretty much 50-50 around here

Even if you tried to be level headed about Cam eventually you for forced to one side or the other by the rest of the community.

It was a crazy time, and a lot of fun.

i actually remember being lured to this forum because of the epic troll battles with phillyb, scp and a couple others had with grits and alice.

 

I remember thinking jesus this place is hysterical to read. then i was hooked.

I got on board because he was our draft pick, but I wanted Dareus or Peterson.

I did NOT want Gabbert at #1... but I'm a bit of a Mizzou homer and I liked him a lot.  I said back then I didn't want him at #1.

Ahhh, TRD...such memories.

 

I remember the time he wanted to show all of us what a cool and together guy he was, talking about his life and his work. Then he fuged it all up by saying he had an extensive shoe and wristwatch collection. 

 

The only thing I seem to routinely collect is empty beer bottles.

TRD stopped having discussions and just started trolling, but he had legit football knowledge.  He just stopped bothering and started being a dick to a lot of people.
