Defensive Rookies

It was a stellar day for our Defensive rookies. 

 

All four on the field made great plays and gives us hope that our next generation of core players are already on the team

 

Star   Helped collapses that pocket and got him a sack.  Front runner defensive ROY

 

Short two tackles two assist with his first NFL sack. 

 

Lester Three tackles and two assist and one Pick.  Should of had two.

 

White.  Solid CB play with an amazing pick and a forced fumble.

 

I love it.   Our first two picks and two of our UDFA.

We killed the draft last year. 

 

Hope we can do it again on the offensive side next year.

That would be nice.  I thought it was awesome that all four had a big play.

Though I believe Star has by far been the best defensive rookie, Kiko Alonso or Alec Ogletree will likely win it unless Star can rack up some dominant stats. Last two players not Linebackers to win the award were Suh and Peppers.
