Did Florence Play?

He was called for a PI late in the fourth quarter.

If I'm not mistaken he started and played on the outside the entire game.

it looked like he was in position to pick off an overthrown ball but someone else tipped it and he was jumping up and down complaining to whoever it was

He played and did pretty well.

 

Luckily the rush TD was called back because he took a terrible angle (as he did all preseason) and it didn't hurt.

 

The fact that you could also ask if Cruz, Nicks or Randle played should really tell you how he and the rest of the secondary performed.

Can't wait to have Dockery back. His man coverage and run stopping have blue chip potential. Also White looked very nice. Dockery, Mitchell, Lester and White the future secondary? *removes homer shades*

He played most of the game, in the spot that Norman would've been playing.

Not to knock Florence (or anyone else) but the way the DL played in the first half, my old slow backside could have covered Victor Cruz.

I know the pressure created by our front four had a huge impact but it amazes me how the no named players performed. Florence was the only player on the field with a little reputation around the league. Captains rep isn't that good.

Lester doesn't tackle well but he seems to sit in zones and bottle up receivers over the top. As many of you were pleasantly surprised and elated, I am very pleased. The Panthers will probably cut Godfrey for 2014. His salary for next season skyrockets and it is ridiculous.
