Sooooo.... DeAngelo Williams......

I will gladly defer to someone like you who knows.

If he can keep it up and keep healthy the whole year for $5 million, dude, that's a deal!  I think everyone was just totaling up Stewarts and Williams contracts plus Tolbert.

But they were using cap figures from the Hurney days.  Gettleman has shaved 30 million off the cap this year and Williams and Stewart were part of that.

So running for first downs and eating up the clock in the second half isn''t important or failing to do so wasn't a major reason we lost the past 2 weeks????

I think you need to learn to read.....instead of just assuming so much....

I have repeatedly said he has run well this year.

I repeatedly have said he has earned his yards b/c the OL still isn't doing him any favors

I have repeatedly said he looks better than 2012 and even 2011

I have said his consistent running this year is important and we lacked that last year

all I did was respond to someone who said he dominated.....that domination was overkill.  He was consistent and that was important.  It is all there in black and white.  Or you can continue to just claim I think X and go off on tangents if you wish.

You constantly talk out of both sides of your mouth.  You say he has run well and don't think his performance was dominant.  If the O-line is as bad as you say and Shula is as bad calling plays as you think, then not only was his performance dominating but it was amazing.  He got 120 yards in the second half when they knew we were going to run, with an o-line that sucks with Shula calling predictable plays.  Sounds pretty dominating.

We all see how you feel so you can stop the old I am a supporter.  If he has a few bad games you will be the first to jump on him like always.  Waffler.....

That cap figure is so incorrect.  Williams counts 5 million against the cap this year and is receiving 5 million.  As far as backs go he is a good value.

next year he is 6mill, Stewart 6mil, Tolbert 3 mill....

that is 15 mill in cap for RBs.  That is too much on RBs

Either Williams or Stewart will be gone I suspect.  Not sure if Tolbert is here either. That depends on Barner as well. I think the plan was Williams but given he seems to be the only healthy and durable guy right now, we might have to modify that.

Yes, he ran well....but the peformance wasn't dominate.  That isn't hard to grasp.

I assume the 120 yards in the 2nd half is a typo...

I am not a waffler....we don't need to pay what we do for RBs.  Bottom line.  As I have always told you......and you constantly ignore....it isn't a Williams issue as much as it is you don't need to waste so much money on RBs.  We need to part with half or all of Double Trouble after this year.

true.

I think Stewart's health may mean he goes.

We keep the vet Williams, Barner and maybe a bruiser late in the draft

he is running good....but he isn't out performing everyone

Compare him and Peterson on yards per carry and Williams wins.  He doesn't have as many TDs but we use Cam and Tolbert for that on the ground.  And whose O-line is worse, ours or Minn ( a toss up to me)

And again he is cheaper than all the other guys on that list. Great performance and good value.  A win-win contrary to all the detractors.
