I'm taking down names. (A Cam Newton Thread)

I said it on twitter all day.  Let Cam be Cam and we will win our share of games.  There will be some bad plays, and there will be a lot of good, but just let the guy play how he knows how to play.  We did today and the result speaks for itself.

not when the defender had his back turned  and the ball was placed to the outside....exactly where it needed to be. Ross was never close to intercepting that pass. it was in Lafell's hands before he even saw the ball.

Ball farther from defender is ball less likely to be intercept. Does it makes sense if I type it that way?

Outside? I think that is a stretch, Ross didn't see it and that was great. I thought it could've been farther to the outside and away from the defender, You and most others disagree, I am def. okay with that....I like when people have differing opinions, it is what keeps everything from becoming the same.

hmmm 7 tds and 2 picks in 3 games..and put our team in position to win every single game....

Cam Newton has decent game manager numbers this year...nothing more. His completion percentage is still very poor...despite only throwing 3 passes beyond 10 yards in week 1.

His top yardage number this year is 229.

Cam Newton is not keeping the Panthers in every game.

The Carolina defense is keeping the Panthers in every game.

One of the best things about Newton as a QB is that he does not turn the ball over much. It is one of his best attributes.

Of all the cowards who were out in full force last week but are now nowhere to be found. As if it wasn't apparent enough that you are a foolish wart on the anus of our fanbase, your cowardice and sudden disappearance is no surprise to any member of the Huddle that has posted here for any amount of time, and, I assure you, nobody here will forget that you went into hiding when you conveniently manage to pop in next time Cam has a less than stellar performance. Even more gold-worthy, is that a sizable portion of you chimed in in the Gameday thread after the INT, only to disappear for the rest of the day, so there will be no excuses next time. Maybe it's time to just find a new team with a more "conventional" QB for you, or, in carolinarolls's case, a white one- because Cam Newton is here and he's going to be for a long, long, long time.

I will admit that I was one of the guys that piped in the chatbox after the interception. I was pissed our defense was playing lights out and we had a 7-0  lead and a long touchdown drive at that point I felt would have put us in total control. Yes I overreacted because we have seen it before . One part of the team  doing more than enough to win and the other part of the team let us down usually leading to defeat. Today though thing were difference the penalty alone with the defense and missed FG bailed us out. The team took control and didn't allow the mistake to lead to the "here we go again BS" that has been in the psyche of our guys head after a mistake. Today they played like a team that wasn't going to allow circumstances to dictate the outcome. They determined the outcome. As far as calling people cowards you're entitled to do so. But everyone on this board has at some point overreacted to both wins and losses.
