I'm taking down names. (A Cam Newton Thread)

No one on this forum has ever said or acted like cam is beyond criticism. It's just the cam haters over analyze cam's criticisms or act like bad passes are something exclusive to cam. It's more like people want to put the frustration of the team losing solely on cam. It's not fair to cam as he has done his job many times to put the panthers in a position to win, the team has to win not just cam.

That is horse poo, I exaggerate my criticism of Cam like crazy because of that.  Some assholes on here massacred a user after he suggested week one that Cam may be handicapping the offense with his inaccuracy and did it in a nice way.

Good point, Cam did a good job today, smart game, and was one of his best. Hats off to Cam and the staff for today's improvements.

I agree. I will take it. Carolina's defense is good enough to keep them in every game. Newton really does not have to do much for this team to win a lot of games. A good start would be improving his accuracy, especially in obvious passing situations. The jury is very much still out. We will see.

Probably because our QB was an Olsen drop away from 70+% completion the first game.

My God, he completed 55% of his passes for 224 yards while benefitting from a nice ground game. He managed the game, basically.

It is clear at this point that "game manager" is what this team wants out of Newton.

Only a Panther fan will take away as much credit as they can from a QB they don't care for while making much out of their mediocre team that hasn't been over .500 since 2008.  Sad

Hey guys! Deangelo had 23 whole carries! The rushing attack did everything! Disregard that half those came when we were running out the clock!

Lol. Grits alt indeed. So did you check the nfl.com box score to obtain this "knowledge" or the espn one?

Yes or no, does Ross have a better shot a making a play on the ball if it is thrown there it was thrown or a couple of yards closer to the sideline?

If he threw it close to the sideline and Lafell has to telegraph it to early Ross will have a better chance of making a play on the ball. It was right where it needed to be Ross never really had a chance unless Lafell telegraphs it too early.

R u kidding me? That is all  some folks have been doing since he's been part of this team.

Now Smitty??!!! there's a player who is off limits when it comes to criticism.

Stop playing folks the fool. There is  a BIG difference between commenting on Cam doing someing wrong and making ish out of everything he does, which seems to be the norm on this site.

For ex: Cam throw a ball a bit flat into the endzone today but then turned around and threw a beauty. But with some of you, u will intentional pick apart what Cam does and make hay out of it for the entire damn week. Then if the media picks it up you will post it on here and continue to make more hay.

Feel free to search through my post history, dude, and you'll see that almost everything I've said about Cam, both positive and negative, is justified.

Didn't cam have like a 67% passing? I think people deserve to get called out if people think cam is handicapping the offense against that seattle D.

Half of the crybaby morons who post on this forum were actually hoping the Panthers would lose today. I am not among those.

I believe the Panthers are going to make the playoffs and that RR is going to be the coach a while.

We are a boatload of injuries and one play from being 3-0 right now.

This is a defensive team...potentially a very special one.

Experience suggests otherwise. To date, if Newton doesn't blow up and we allow a team to hang in there, our special defense has let them march down the field to tie it up or win the game on a pretty frequent basis.

That was a damn nice game played by Cam today.  He still locked in on his WR a few times and had the really bad throw late to the outside that was an int.  But, he shook that off and made some great plays with both his legs and his arm.  THAT is the weapon that we need to have at QB.

He hit nice throws both short and long....and made the right decision to pull it down and run quite a few times.

Add that play to a very solid game by DWill and a NASTY game by our front 7 defense and this is the team that we should see every Sunday.

This game was HUGE in more ways than just not going 0-3.  This team needed a statement game...Cam and the offense needed a strong showing for their confidence.  I think this game could possibly be a turning point for the season.

And.....let's not forget to give major props to Shula.  He called a hell of a game today.  Great playcalling....really mixed it up....did not play "not to lose" when we got a lead.  Hats off to him.

And, DAMN McDermott......that was a NASTY scheme that he drew up for today.  They beat the living hell out of the Giants OL and Eli.  Well done sir.

I'm amazed that the Panthers have so many football experts on this site who sit every week and analyze the heck out of their QB while settling for the rest of the team to simply show up. And some of you wonder why no one takes you seriously.
