What to make if Ginn?

I think the offense is tailored to what he does best . He not a middle of the field, catch in traffic kind of guy. Deep post, and 9 routes to stretch the defense are his strengths. So far I  liked what i've seen and I was a skeptic heading into the season. If he continues on this pace id really like to see him get a new deal to stick around.

In three seasons in Miami, Ginn had Cleo Lemen, Chad Pennington and Chad Henne as his quarterbacks. Lemen and Pennington are no longer in the league and Henne has nearly cemented himself as nothing more than a backup quarterback — he's never thrown more touchdowns than interceptions in four seasons.

The one season in Miami that he had a capable quarterback — Pennington threw for 3,653 yards, 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions and completed 67.4 percent of his passes that year — Ginn had his best NFL season. He set career-highs in receiving yards (790), receptions (56) and tied his mark in touchdown receptions (two).

During his two years in San Francisco he had Alex Smith commanding the offense, but Ginn never seemed comfortable.

Just wondering what to make of his early success, especially in light of his lack of use as WR in SF. Did Harbaugh overlook him, is their WR corp just that much better, has he imprived that much or did our staff see something others didn't.

As a dolfan, I hated him because he is NOT a #1 WR....or a #2.....The dolphins counted on him to be that. However.......

He is perfect for the Panthers. Special teams....slot/#3 speedster with a true #1 and a TE.....he can excel in Carolina. And I am happy for him after years of inconsistency.

I love you guys. Go ahead and wait for him to prove to you he belongs. Cuz to most of us, he has already proven that he does belong on the field.

Ginn Jr. caught every pass thrown his way today. Including a deep out on the sideline. Where he caught it with his hands, and got both feet down. It was a catch people have been saying he couldn't make. Yet he made it look almost easy. He has done everything a real WR needs to do.

He has had a great year to date. And I believe it is going to get even better as he and Cam get their chemistry going. Add in the fact that he only has 1 drop, and I see a legit WR. The more he plays, the more it opens up the field for the other guys.

He is a weapon. He is proving he belongs. Great pickup.

Some of you guys slay me.

Good point...

Ginn has never had a QB who can get him the ball deep.

His hands have been somewhat of an issue but so far for us...he has been hauling them in
