Interception in the 2nd quarter

The announcers said Lafell Didnt run the route well enough which allowed the cb to jump the route. Im just glad it didnt cost us any points

So even those so called Experts in the media said it was LaFell's fault for being a split second slower than the defender, but it's clear there are Panthers fans who simply can't seem to get off Cam's man piece. He has to be perfect in their eyes, even thou they claim othewise. Hmmmm

Now if Cam gets Int, he shouldn't have thrown the ball in the first place. Isn't it great to sit and second guess every decision your QB makes when the outcome isn't quite to your liking. Then spend endless  hours making so much out of it. Only Panther fans.

No we don't want Cam to be perfect. We just want him to do everything on the field perfect.

Lafell rounded the route which allowed the receiver to jump to the inside. He also didn't attack the ball which made it even worse. Had Lafell actually ran the route properly the defender isn't able to get between him and the ball. Additionally, had he actually attacked the ball instead of running the route passively he could have regained proper position to make the catch.

While the throw wasn't necessarily the best decision, especially once the defender had inside position, the majority of the fault lies with Lafell rather than Cam.

Its the fact that LaFell has not been looked at for two weeks on that route. Then when Cam trusts him to win that situation he didn't. Its why we need better WRs.

Cam short-armed it with a bit of pressure in his face and LaFell rounded off his route. Both carry some degree of fault.

exactly what i was going to say. the fault was with both of them....but they recovered, which is what is important. they both shook it off and stepped up their game.
