Interception in the 2nd quarter

Lafell rounded the route which allowed the receiver to jump to the inside. He also didn't attack the ball which made it even worse. Had Lafell actually ran the route properly the defender isn't able to get between him and the ball. Additionally, had he actually attacked the ball instead of running the route passively he could have regained proper position to make the catch.

While the throw wasn't necessarily the best decision, especially once the defender had inside position, the majority of the fault lies with Lafell rather than Cam.

It was Lafell's  fault. If you and a QB made a play decison, u have to follow through. Lafell was a step behind the Giants defender. It doesn't matter if Cam had a defender in his face or not. If the ball was caught by LaFell, depite the fact, many of you would be singing a different song. Typical fairweather Panthers fans. Be that as it may, who cares. Almost every QB today had at least one INts. No big deal.

One you try getting up at 6 am to watch the game. 2. You need to reread the game thread.

Not only did I get up at 6am to watch the game. I got up at 6am to drive my ass to Charlotte to watch it in person. And that's after getting home at 1am. If your a panther fan getting up at 6am not a big deal.

Lafell and the defenders feet got a little tangled causing Lafell's break to be off. It also gave the CB time to get under Lafell.

Cam did not zip that ball like he needed to. Footwork was not good never stepped into the throw making it sluggish. He was also a bit late on the release.

Bad play, worse results.

We won.

Shared blame on that play to me.  It was a bad pass under pressure, but LaFell's route was terrible.  Both players could have done better.  I would give a little more blame to LaFell on the play though, because if he's more aggressive on his comeback route there's no way the DB is in position to pick it....
