Why does this thread even exist?

There is tremendous pressure to win ....

On the entire team.

We have more than enough talent to win, and win consistently....despite what a few fans are saying.

But our team isn't stepping up to the challenge.

They are competing, but they aren't playing well enough; consistently enough, to get over the hump.

This includes our coaches.

If some of the turds we have on this team would actually get open and catch the ball or block somebody instead of getting pushed on their asses that would be be a big help.Also bone head penalties to kill drives is a great thing we have going for us. Cam has his problems sure but he can't pull lightning out his ass with some of the other stuff going on around him. Add in Shula up in the box and you have trifecta of fail that's hard to beat.

i have no idea, i thought as an NFL QB or any position, you are expected to make plays to win.  i'm going to avoid all the made-up excuses in this thread because i'm sure they are embarrassing.

that's a huge problem, considering pretty much every time this defense is on the field last, they blow the game.

Not sure where you're having the problem. Was it where I said ESPN is not the only voice on football? Or that I don't think Kaepernick is a championship QB so a 3 interception day doesn't surprise me. Was it about Newton? Sorry but he will not be the starting QB in Carolina once the new coach arrives.

 

What makes you think that Cam won't be the starter once a new set of coaches take over?  What sort of proof do you have to back up this claim?

Opinions are typically formed based on some factual evidence. You my friend have your BELIEF. That is how you feel based on what you've experience before. Cam is fine with pressure says heisman trophy and national title all the while under investigation. Coming back from 24-0 against Nick Saban, pressure.

I personally thinks he's being out in a position to press because let's face it, we aren't as good as we would all like to be.

The pressure shouldn't be all on him and he shouldn't catch all the blame. The blame shouldn't be all on one player or coach. However, I believe Rivera should take the majority. Cant make all the plays, gotta make good calls in crucial moments. He plays it too safe.

Espn sure swept it under the rug. All they said was well that's what you can expect when facing this Seattle defense he's a good young player nothing to be ashamed of.

I distinctly remember them asking "Cam throws for only 130yds, should we be worried?"  Kaepernick was solely responsible for four turnovers.  I am doubly pissed about this thread because I have a friend who like alot of the morons on this board questions our quarterback because of national media coverage.  I told him if he keeps calling himself a Panthers fan while calling me to question our QB, I was going to smack some sense into him.  But,but, but Espn said.............

I have to deal with it a lot as well. I tell my friends stop watching Espn after we lose every show is a Cam bashing after every single loss.

They've even started to turn on RG3 the media is a bunch of bandwagon idiots. They only love you if you win and if RG3 doesn't start winning he's going to get the Cam treatment. Really sad because guys like Sam Bradford, Jake Locker, and Christian Ponder get to hide.
