The 2 biggest issues are

1) We don't yet have a generation of fans who have grown up with the panthers

2) We have a lot of long distance PSL holders who don't come to games

 

The seats to the left of me are owned by a guy from VA who never comes. Sometimes he gives them to a friend and sometimes he scalps

 

The seats to the right are a guy in Hickory. He will give his seats to opposing fans although I have met him once.

 

It sucks that you never see the same guy twice and often its opposing fans. I have offered to buy both and they don't want to sell for some reason. I wish they would.

I have told you over and over if you would read what I am saying. I am a big fan of Cam since the day I came on here supporting him before we drafted him. I root for him to do well every week. My support for him doesn't blind me however from obvious flaws and problems. I will be there rooting again tomorrow. And next week if he still struggles will be honest in my assessment like always.

I'm about tired of this tiny fan base. Our team has fuging sucked for a few years, big god damned deal. Lots of teams suck. I've got a NEWSFLASH for all of you calling for a boycott or selling your tickets. This soft ass fan base can't properly fill a stadium even when we win. So go ahead, stay at home. Charlotte is home to more bandwagon fans and transplant fans than any city I have ever lived in or traveled to. Panther fans don't show up? FINE, there are 40,000 assholes from 31 other NFL teams that will be their embarrassing this franchise and perpetuating the laughing stock that is Panther Nation. As a whole, we suck. Plain and simple, There is not a worse fan base. We show up late, we leave at half time, we golf clap and bitch when somebody is standing, we get loud when we are on offense. Ooooh, traffic is bad so I need to leave in the 3rd quarter. Suck it up you khacki weraing sweater vest pimping douchebag. Hell, we ONLY get loud on 3rd down when we are on defense. LMAO. God forbid we make it tough for opposing teams to play us on every down like 31 other NFL stadiums. So fug it. Good riddance Panther "fans". I'll be there each Sunday defending what is mine. I'll be there sitting next to thousnds of fans from some other team and some asshole in a Steeler jersey that lives in Maiden but has been a diehard Steeler asshole because he liked fuging yellow as a kid. I will be there Sunday when tens of thousands (and I'm not exaggerating) of Giants fans disrespect our house. Don't worry though, they'll enjoy it. The whole fan base does not live in Charlotte, the Carolina's cover a large area.  The fans are more laid back than some other franchises, but it is more of a laid back population.  I would rather have laid back fans than the obnoxious Redskin or Steeler fan base.

Formula for fan support and allegiance...time the organization has existed.....eighteen years. The teams with the strongest fan basees have been around much longer. Actually having a winning franchise and tradition...which we have neither. The PSL arrangement to actually get a team here catered to big corporate interests and not building a local fan base. Start winning on a constant basis, bring the younger generation into the fan fold and establish a team pride that can grow and mature together over the coming years.The PSL problem will have to be resolved over time has they sell off their PSl allotments and local business and fans buy them up ONCE this team gives them reason to invest and have interest/pride in this team.
