Thinking outside the box: Let's see if Lombardi/Chud will part with Flash Gordon

I'm willing to give as much as a 3rd. We sucked outside the 1st round.

Gordon is talented and Browns would be STUPID to part way with him.

if i remember correctly brandon marshall was traded for two 3rds.

someone like josh gordon could be had for a 6th, 5th tops.

i'd love to have him, he balled out with the CLEVELAND BROWNS and he's a big play waiting to happen.

and to those saying the franchise is in a "fragile state," what the fug could this man possibly do to make it worse? so maybe he gets arrested for smoking weed but who gives a fug.

our offense is straight up embarassing to watch. we need to make moves ASAP, not even to make a run at the playoffs (i don't think there is any chance of that with ron rivera at the helm), but to make this team somewhat watchable.

It's a beautiful concept but the odds of The Browns wanting to trade their only legitimate weapon on offense [now] and acquiring Nicks via free agency so we can draft a top notch DB and/or OT is a dream.

honestly, the browns are so completely fuged if i were handed the GM job for them i would trade anyone with any value at all.

they traded up for t-rich (which was ridiculous in the first place) and then traded him the following year. what the fug? don't even get me started on brandon weeden.

Well, Fug, they are looking to trade.

Appearing on Sunday NFL Countdown, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Browns are fielding trade offers for Josh Gordon and Greg Little.

Totally not tanking. Right. It's unlikely the Browns could get much in return for either player. Gordon is one misstep away from getting a one-year suspension, while Little can't catch the football. However, both players have loads of talent. Gordon could be one of the best receivers in the league if he really wanted to. It wouldn't be a shock if a team took a gamble on him ahead of October's trade deadline. Gordon will make his season debut today against Minnesota.

I'm hoping we are looking but knowing G-Man's and Richardson's history they're not going to bring in a troubled player.

It would help us out tremendously though come draft day. We desperately need a shutdown corner and replacement/successor for Gross too.

If the price is right, G-man just needs to make it happen. It makes too much damned sense...but that's why it probably won't happen...fug that! G-man needs to make it happen.

Considering Gordon could be on his way out of the league, it's not that easy of a decision. We don't want a Jarrett 2.0 but I'd be willing to take that risk... unless G-Man is already eyeing Watkins or Lee.

I hear what you're saying, but it could be so little for such a big reward.  Honestly, I am not necessarily thinking objectively. I might be willing to part with a 3rd round pick. Definitely a 4th rounder. Of course I would be willing to see what the market is saying. We can get Watkins or Lee anyway, but I can't say that either one of them is better than Gordon.  I know that you are referring to his off-filed issues, but Gordon has already shown more on the field than Jarrett did his whole career. He has shown more willingness to get his life together as well.

lol lets not get our hopes up guys.

TBH, I really don't have my hopes up (he'll probably end up a Raven)...not really...but, I'll still be calling G-man and Richardson  all kinds of dumbass mutherfugers if they don't make this happen.

If they can roll the dice on sketchy talent at OG, DB, and WR, they can roll the dice on a talented Gordon. At least this is a roll of the dice that makes sense.  In the end, it's all still a roll of the dice.
