1 game to keep his job...how does Rivera coach?

So let's say that Ron has sources as good as ours (Zod) and he knows this game determines whether he keeps his job.

How does he play it?  Is he sure he is right and plays just as conservatively or even more? Is he playing not to lose?

Or does he finally see the light and decide that he must change and adapt (even if he does not like it).  What will he do on 4th and 1?  And numerous other crucial decisions.

What does the game plan look like? Will we see anything different?

If history has taught us anything he will coach the same way he always has; afraid to lose.

I honestly don't think he believes his job is on the line. He knows there is speculation but I don't think he believes he needs to win this game to keep his job.

His problem is that he believes so strongly in his principles that he won't stray away from them. Instead he blames it on execution, he believes his decisions are right and the players just aren't executing.

What he fails to realize is that part of being a good coach is knowing your team and what they're capable of. History has shown us punting or kicking a fg and sending our defense back out on the field hasn't worked. It has shown as that we can't sit on a lead we need to keep putting up points.

Same ol Ron is my guess.

This is a true test of his nature. Gonna be telling about him personally but it wont change the outcome at the end of the year.  Unless we do some crazy like go 10 and 4 for the rest of the season he is gone.  If we win this one, we will undoubtedly lose enough to see him on his way. He has to know that. That is why this game is so telling. If he doesn't get more aggressive he may never HC again.

he gives Cam the green light...

Cam can run, throw or both like the days of old that made Cam a household name!

This is a win win game for Panther fans if we lose we get a new coach and rightfully so cause we should win this game!

If we win this will be the game that changes our luck and we make our push for the playoffs!!

Go Panthers!
