Ron Rivera on his job security...

Being a defensive coordinator is not the worst thing that could happen to Ron so I feel no sympathy at all. His defense so far is not exactly something to brag about. Lovie Smith had a top 5 defense, went 10-6 and still got fired. They're all millionaires anyway.

this and the fact that he's had strategies fail on him multiple times and does nothing to chance them. ex. prevent defense, failing to let cam try to win the game on fourth and shorts, etc

Exactly there is actually an article on the observer's site that talks about the team not actually allowing Cam to be a franchise qb. For better or worse you need to allow him to make the plays that win or lose the game.

Just tired of the Panthers always being the other teams' highlight reels.

...of hiring the wrong coach.

..of drafting the wrong players

..of being a laughing stock on National TV

...they also have a penchant to hang on to broken down players too long...they never learn.  It's a young person's game and not for long.

...and then the players sing, like birds on a wire '...we have to get serious, we have to do better' and the  coaches 'its a process, I have to look at the film etc etc etc.

Win.  That's all.  Let the W talk and then there is nothing else to say.

At the Seattle game, everyone in the stadium knew it was over...there was no way that team could be resilient enough to bounce back and win...they are not mentally tough enough and they have not been for a very long time.
