In the actual presser it sounded more like he was confident in his job security than he was scared to address it.

What is going on?  Why does RR have even a shred of confidence or rather a total lack of concern?  If i even heard a rumor that my job could be terminated in as few as 3 days I would have a little more concern than "none".

I almost feel bad for him cause he's a great man. But I just don't think he has it in him right now. He should take a couple years to think about it then try for a HC gig again.

Nobody is blind to anything, Gettleman and JR see exactly what the situation is, because they've put Ron in it voluntarily. Gettleman left gaping wholes on the roster and refuses to upgrade them, and Rivera is too poor of a coach to overcome them. Gettleman has written off this season already and will build his team after it.

 

Rivera may not be concerned because he thinks the team can turn the corner, or he may not be concerned because JR has told him he'll finish the season.
