I'm sending this to the Panthers today and I wanted to share.

our fan base is frustrated....

during the Panther games I usually put my 89 jersey on and put Newton's jersey on my 18 month old son so we can watch and cheer together in style

however... this Sunday I plan on playing a video game @ 1pm while listening to the game is on. That way I can just hear us blow another game instead of having to watch it.

Thanks for suggestions and edits provided.

Very good use of pathos and logos to satisfy your argument, however your use of ethos is questionable. I doubt a fan has much credibility in the eyes of the owner, yet a lot of fans may. Put it online with an area for online signatures. This will allow thousands of people to sign it showing that the distaste isn't from one person but the entire fan base.

Wow good Shyte...my daughter is 3 now and I remember buying her first pink and white onesie with her pink and white sippy cup that had the logo scattered all over it(purchased through panthers.com shop)...I was so proud and even prouder to see my Father In Law (Eagles Fan) cringed over it...she is so smart and leaves by my side around halftime or around end of third qt to go play her toys or watch Dora and yet I stick around my laptop to watch the game(HDMI to tv) and refresh the huddle forums every 10 secs or so on my iPad. You Sir are absolutely right and I hope things change fast and I'm not saying I'm going to stop being a fan but my daughter on the other hand deserves better...u hit the spot Kurb

Good write up, although I don't think it's a lack of caring or an unwillingness to spend... I think this organization as a whole is too risk-adverse. Think about how shocked we all were when they drafted Cam, why were we shocked?

We took the risk of drafting Cam and it felt like we turned a corner, but now it feels like we're slipping back into this same "play it safe" mentality again.

I was actually thinking about you and several others when I wrote it.

My Kid

Your Kid

Zod's kids

Cyberjags kids

SPC's kids

and on and on.

It (for serious) almost brings me to tears when i think about what could be.

My kid got a size 3t Cam Newton jersey last Christmas and he was only a month old . I've started early and soon he will go to a game( will be a year in September) but I know what you mean, you just want your children to love something sports related, and share all the good times you have with the hometown team. Jerry needs to understand this franchise is at that age, all the young kids who were around when the football team first began have grown up and are having children.

We almost beat the #1 team in the NFL if Dwill just held onto that ball tighter...

We lose a tough away game in the final seconds by what appears as Cam lite at QB

We should destroy the Giants and all of this talk will be over..

Great letter Kurb, just sucks that we will probably be the only one's reading it.

And I think even if Dwill holds onto the ball and we score they would have had a good 2-3 minutes left minimum to drive down and score.  A rookie QB only needed 60 sec.

Its fun to think that if we score the game is over but sadly that game was far from over.

Just sayin

good luck getting a response that doesn't sound anything close to this....

Dear WB...we thank you for your letter and for your continued support of your Carolina Panthers.

All of us here on Mint Street care deeply about the Panthers and their success both on and off the field.  If running a professional sports team was easy, everyone would do it.  While sometimes the decisions we make may not always pan out as we all would hope, we can assure you that we have the best interest of the entire organization and its' fans in mind at all times.  We strive every day to get the right combination of players into this organization while at the same time we have to maintain fiscal responsibility to our stakeholders and our supporters.  There is no perfect combination or recipe book to ensure that this combination is always obtainable.

We are confident that we are on the cusp of something very special here in Carolina with our Panthers and we very much want you and your son and your friends and their sons and daughters to be part of the experience for many years to come.

Please be patient and keep cheering for your team!

PS...here's a banner for your son to hang in his room.
